Infertility is a condition where a couple is unable to conceive even after 12 months of regular unprotected intercourse and without any use of birth control measures. Infertility can be due to the woman (33%), the man (33%) and by both sexes or due to unknown problems (33%), approximately.
There are two kinds of infertility :
Primary infertilityM¨¢y ?¨¢nh b?c means that the couple has never conceived.
Secondary infertility means that the couple has experienced a pregnancy before and are now finding it difficult to conceive again.
In most of the cultures infertility is assumed to be a woman's problem. It is not the case as mentioned above both men and women are equal contributors to the incidence of Infertility.
A man's sperm count gets affected by his overall health and lifestyle. Reasons for low sperm count can be:

M¨¢y ?¨¢nh b?c Health problems such as mumps, kidney disease or hormonal problems
Treating Male Infertility involves removing the underlying reasons and lifestyle modification. Proper and healthy diet combined with regular exercise, quitting smoking and drinking would greatly help in stimulating the number and health of the sperms which will improve the male fertility.
Although a woman may need just one or two therapies to restore fertility, it's possible that several different types of treatment may be needed before she is able to conceive.
Stimulating ovulation with fertility drugsM¨¢y ?¨¢nh b?c - Fertility drugs are the main treatment for women who are infertile due to ovulation disorders. These medications regulate or induce ovulation.
Intrauterine insemination (IUI)M¨¢y ?¨¢nh b?c - During IUI, healthy sperm that have been collected and concentrated are placed directly in the uterus around the time the woman's ovary releases one or more eggs to get fertilized. Depending on the reasons for infertility, the timing of IUI can be coordinated with your normal cycle or with fertility medications.
Surgery to restore fertility - Uterine problems such as endometrial polyps, a uterine septum or intrauterine scar tissue can be treated with hysteroscopic surgery. There might be the case that you have uterine fibroids or ovarian cysts which needs surgery for removal. Also there can be situation where the fallopian tubes are blocked which is preventing pregnancy. The tubes cn be opened through an OPD procedure called HSG or surgery called Tubal Recanalization.
